Iran bags 1 gold, 3 silvers in 2017 Asian Canoeing Champs

In male adult section, Iran received gold medal and in youth section Iranian athletes snatched three silver medals.

Iranian female adult team was overpowered by China 4-1 and received silver medal.

The 2017 Asian Canoeing Champs was held on November 9-12 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Canoe polo, also known as Kayak polo, is one of the competitive disciplines of canoeing, known simply as 'polo' by its aficionados. Polo combines canoeing and ball handling skills with a contact team game, where tactics and positional play are as important as the speed and fitness of the individual athletes.
