In today’s session presided by President Hassan Rouhani, the Cabinet agreed ceding the two big cultural-sport companies to the private sector.
Proposal of the Ministry of Sport and Youth to cede the two companies which was approved by President Rouhani earlier was enacted on the Cabinet’s Sunday meeting, he said.
Privatization Organization affiliated to Finance Ministry will shoulder evaluation, pricing and way of ceding the companies to the applicants, Soltanifar said.
Privatization Organization Head Seyyed Mir Ali-Ashraf Hosseini also said that it was due to Soltanifar’s efforts that Esteqlal and Persepolis entered cycle of privatization.
Evaluation and pricing of the two clubs will be conducted within the next two months, he said.
