Fajr int’l taekwondo competitions kick off in Alborz

The 29th edition of the event in men’s category and the 10th edition in women’s category are underway, head of Alborz Taekwondo Board Mohammad Nozari told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Twenty teams from Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Armenia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Syria, Kazakhstan, Oman and India are participating in the event, he said.

Holders of gold, silver and bronze medals will be granted 10, 6, 3.6 points to increase their Olympic ranking, he added.
