In a press conference for the first round of Archery championship of world armies (CISM), Rear Adm Habibullah Sayari said on Sunday that the tournament is to be held with participation of China, Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, Sri Lanka, Brazil and Iran on November 11-16 this year in the Azadi Stadium, Tehran.

He went on to say, “There will be 100 athletes in the event in two groups of men and women.”

Sayari explained, “Archery is one of the world’s military sports, and our shooters at the military level of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army and other armed forces are fully ready for this sport as we hope to win the top titles in this tournament.”
