600 Iranian, foreign chess players compete in Fajr Cup

In the past days, Iran's Chess Federation has invited athletes from 40 foreign countries to participate in the competition; a total of 600 Iranian and foreign players are expected to compete. The tournament will be held on three tables of professors, amateur players and teens.

The tournament will be held on February 5-11 at the Chess Federation. Arkady Dvorkovich, World Chess Federation president, will be the special guest of the tournament who will travel to Tehran at the time of the tournament.

The cash prize intended for this competition is 20,000 Euros.
