Pouya Nasserpour, Mohammad Hadi Saravi and Amin Mirzazadeh, member of Iran's Junior National Greco-Roman Team, managed to reach the finals in the 55 kg, 87 kg and 130 kg weight categories respectively.

Wrestlers from 42 countries are participating in the 2018 Junior World Championships in the Slovak city of Trnava from September 17-23.
