Cyclists compete in the mountain stage of the tour, which is also the toughest one, in Ghushchi pass located in Orumiyeh Province, northwest of Iran.
The second stage of the tour covers a total distance of 206 kilometers.
On Sunday, the first stage was held in Tabriz-Orumiyeh road, where Iranian cyclist ranked first in single category.
The German team Bike Aid finished first in the team category.
The 33rd Azerbaijan international cycling tour is underway in Ardabil, Western Azarbaijan Province, and Eastern Azarbaijan Province.
Eight international teams from Germany, Netherlands, Belguim, Russia, Republic of Azerbijan, Lithuania, Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan and five Iranian teams compete in the event.
The tournament includes six stages with the total length of 999.7 kilometers.
