Zarif: US claims on Iran lacking legal justification

Zarif attended Parliament (Majlis) open session on Wednesday to answer the questions put forth by a Member of Parliament on the latest status of anti-Iran claims in the international courts against Iran, and what the country's authorities have done in defending Iran.

Lack of legal justification has enabled Iran to prevent the implementation of the US claims in all countries, except for Canada, the Minister said.

He also gave some explanations on the US measures against Iran, and their natures with regard to the departments responsible for defending Iran. He also elaborated on the countermeasures taken by Tehran in the international arena against the US.

At the end of the session, the lawmaker questioning the Foreign Minister was convinced by his explanations.
