Reacting to Zarif's resignation, Ali Asghar Yousefnejad wrote in Instagram page that he is at the heart of the Iranian nation and his rare achievements in recent years have made every Iranian happy and the enemies disappointed.

He said in an address to President Rouhani who did not accept his resignation, as the superman’s resignation will once again revive the memory of elite killing and distancing real children of the Revolution from the governmental scene.

About 160 members of Majlis (Iranian Parliament) signed a letter to President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday, asking for Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to continue his job.
