Zarif: Iran nuclear deal not renegotiable

'About time for US to stop spinning and begin complying, Just like Iran,' Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted.

He also said that it is a fantasy to think that the landmark international agreement, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is renegotiable.

'The JCPOA is not (r)negotiable,' he said.

'A better deal is pure fantasy,' Iran's top diplomat added.

The new US administration is trying to kill the nuclear deal, saying Iran is not complying.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has repeatedly confirmed that Iran has fulfilled its JCPOA commitments.
