Besides the installations of the Saudi Arabian oil company, the Badr-1 ballistic missiles also targeted a petrochemical firm located in Jizan industrial township, Almasirah said.
Saudi media outlets confirmed the firing of the missiles but claimed the country's air defense intercepted and destroyed two missiles over Jizan.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the government of Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s Houthi Ansarullah movement.
Some 15,000 Yemenis have been killed and thousands more injured since the onset of the Saudi-led aggression.
The assaults of the Saudi-led coalition forces have failed to stop the Yemenis from resisting the aggression. Recently, the Yemeni army unveiled its home-made underground missile launching pads.
