Addressing a ceremony held to mark the 1st anniversary of a terrorist attack on Majlis (Parliament), Hossein Amir Abdollahian said US has supported Daesh seriously to achieve its goals.
Two terrorist groups attacked mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini and the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) on June 7, 2017, killing 17 people and injuring 52 more.
One of the attackers blew up himself outside the Imam Khomeini mausoleum.
The terrorist group of Daesh (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the fatal attacks in Tehran.
Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah were present in the region to fight terrorism, he said adding that Russian also helped in the fighting process.
He referred to US President Donald Trump's 2018 strategy, saying he lied about annihilation of Daesh in Syria and Iraq by the US.
