US withdrawal from JCPOA not to hurt Iran's scientific progress: Envoy

US' possible withdrawal from the JCPOA will not hurt Iran's rapid scientific progress, Levan Jagarian told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Tuesday.

He referred to Iran's commitment to its obligations, and said that Russia is bound to its obligations enshrined in the JCPOA.

Even if Washington withdraws Iran's nuclear deal, Moscow will respect all scientific and educational treaties with Tehran, the envoy added.

US President Donald Trump will announce his decision on Iran nuclear deal on Tuesday night.

The US administration has done a great deal during past year to kill Iran nuclear deal.

Trump was initially expected to announce his decision regarding suspending sanctions against Iran and continuing the implementation of the JCPOA on May 12.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already confirmed ten times Iran's commitment to the landmark July 2015 international deal.
