US not be authority to certify Iran compliance with JCPOA

In his Twitter message released on Saturday, Baeidinejad said 'US admin, legally speaking, may not play the role of an authority to certify Iran's compliance with JCPOA, there is only one judge: IAEA.'

He went on to say that International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is the only body which is responsible for reviewing Iran's compliance with nuclear deal also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

According to US Congress approval, US President Donald Trump should certify Iran's commitment every 90 days.

This is while, the IAEA published on Aug 31, its eighth report and the third since Trump has taken office in January 2017, to confirm that Iran has been committed to the deal.

The report comes a week after the visit of the US representative in the UN Nikki Haley to IAEA in Vienna to press the United Nations nuclear watchdog to seek access to Iran's military sites.
