In an exclusive interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the head of the Al-Rebat al-Mohammadi Sholar Council Sheikh Abdulqader Al-Alousi in response to the threats and actions of the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran highlighted, 'The conspiracies of the United States and the Zionist regime and their regional mercenaries are now fully apparent, and this has strengthened the camp of lovers of the Islamic Republic of Iran.'
He went on to say that American threats against the region and Muslim nations are not new, but this time the tensions are high and, given the evil spirit of the United States, some are worried about the future of the region and its peoples.
The Iraqi scholar said that from the point of view of the politicians, the new tension directs the region towards the abyss, but from our point of view, and from the religious point of view, this is the opposite, and today's tensions show that the future will be in favor of the Islamic Ummah.
He stressed that today, in the wake of the scandalous measures of some regional rulers for the Zionist regime and the United States, the defense of Islamic values and the interests of the Ummah of Islam is even wider than before.
Al-Alousi, while commending Iran for the undisputed support of Iraq, said that today is the day of compensation and response to these positive stances and contributions from Iran, and 'on this occasion we announce that we stand by Iran as a Muslim country and brother'.
He added that the Iraqi people stand with Iran's Muslim nation in the hardships and sanctions that the United States seeks to put into effect so that the Islamic Republic of Iran can safely pass it.
