US-led hegemonism confronting Islamic Revolution: Iran cmdr

General Mousavi made the remarks in response to a question asked by a reporter in a ceremony in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on recent comments by certain European countries regarding Iran's missile program and defense capabilities.

Such comments are the outcome of a clear equation and they are not new, the commander said.

They are just using different methods and tactics, in their pursuit of the same confrontation line with the Islamic Revolution, he added, referring to certain EU countries.

Top Iranian officials have declared over and over that any negotiations about the country's missile program, which are completely for the defense purposes, are unacceptable.

Sometimes, the commander said, they focus on nuclear talks, sometimes on the human rights and now they have raised the issue of missile program.

'This is not a new issue,' the Army commander said.
