'Such a figure with such a position can use the international law and appropriate tools play a more effective role, but, unfortunately, different tools are of no use in the Palestine-Israel dispute,' Al-Mizan Human Rights Center Esam Younes told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
He also said that the law can be used to terminate the occupation of the Palestinian land by the Zionists, not just to deal with the emergencies and crises.
Meanwhile, another analyst, Director of the Palestinian Center for Policy Research and Strategic Studies Salah Abdul Ati, told INRA, 'The current moves to sue the Zionist authorities for their constant crimes are going on without any strategies and plan, which makes them futile.'

- Providing a “more robust UN presence on the ground” with rights monitors and political officers to report on the situation;
- Providing more UN humanitarian and development aid to “ensure the well-being of the population;”
- Creating a civilian observer mission that would be present in sensitive areas such as checkpoints and near Israeli settlements, with a mandate to report on protection issues; and
- Deploying an armed military or police force, under a UN mandate, to provide physical protection to Palestinian civilians.

The implementation of the proposals requires a UN Security Council resolution, but several observers believe that the United Nations is unable to take any actions against Israel due to its pressures.
