Head of the UN office said that de Mistura was invited to Astana talks in Sochi and he agreed to attend the event.
In addition to him, a group of UN experts are to take part in Sochi meeting to provide guarantor states with technical assistance on the issues of those detained, kidnapped and declared missing in Syria, he said.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin said the next round of Astana Talks are to be held in Sochi from July 30-31.
Guarantor states (Iran, Russia and Turkey) will serve as observers and Syrian parties will attend the meeting.
The ninth round of Astana Talks to solve Syrian crisis was held in Astana on May 15. Unlike the previous rounds, next round of the talks will be hosted by Sochi.
