Trump's rhetoric against JCPOA letter, spirit: Iran's deputy FM

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed Iran compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nine times, Abbas Araqchi said, speaking to London-based Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs.

'But Trump is talking about tearing up the landmark deal,' he said.

Araqch also said that the confidence building process in the JCPOA and the production of a nuclear bomb are two different issues.

'Iran's commitment to avoid building an atomic bomb is eternal,' he stressed.
