Trump withdrawal from JCPOA to make US more isolated: Int’l lawyer

“If Donald Trump withdraws from the Iran Deal, the US will be just as isolated on the nuclear issue as it is today on the Palestinian issue,' Reza Nasri said in a Twitter message released on Thursday.

“You'll have the entire world on one side; The United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Palau and Nauru on the other,” he added.

The US administration has done a great deal over past year to kill Iran nuclear deal.

Trump is expected to announce his decision regarding suspending sanctions against Iran and continuing the implementation of the JCPOA on May 12.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already confirmed ten times Iran's commitment to the landmark July 2015 international deal.

Elaborating on allegations regarding Iran defense power, Nasri said “Iran is surrounded by hostile dictatorships that can spend billions of dollars on weaponry & wage war without any checks and balances or consent from their people and parliament.”

“In this context, expecting Iran to disarm or diminish its defense capabilities is just absurd,” he noted.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif ealrier blasted the US double-standards in dealing with Iran’s defensive missile program.

“Sheer hypocrisy of whining about Iran's defensive missiles while pouring >$ 100Bs of arms into our region,” he said.

'Customer Service’ pledge by US/E3 arms producers: Buy our weapons & our governments will provide after-sales support by pressuring your neighbor to dismantle its defenses,” he said.
