Trump more isolated than ever: Veep

Eshaq Jahangiri said on Saturday that nobody applauded Trump's dramatic play which was full of bluff.

He called Trump's recent speech against Iran, parts of the US psychological war against Islamic Republic.

The official referred to the world reaction to Trump's anti-Iranian remarks and noted that Trump is now alone because he did not respect the global treaties.

Certain regional countries and the Zionists are using all tools to prevent the Iranian nation benefit the nuclear deal, Jahangiri added.

Speaking about the US sanctions against Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), he said that with the IRGC's moral support and the advisory helps of Iranian armed forces, Daesh has been crippled in the region.

US President Donald Trump on Friday took a new strategy towards Iran and decertified Tehran's commitment with the 2015 landmark nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Trump's approach has been criticized by many countries, international bodies, political communities and world media.

'Iran nuclear deal is not a bilateral accord and it belongs to no country and no country is able to terminate it,' High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said minutes after Trump's speech on Friday.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a televised message shortly after Trump's speech said his remarks were 'nothing but a handful of baseless and empty allegations against the Iranian nation'.
