Since March 30, the Palestinians have set up tents and staged a peaceful demonstration in Gaza to express their outrage over the plots against the Palestinian issue, including relocation of American embassy from Tel Aviv to al Quds (Jerusalem) carried out with the consent of some Arab countries and regarded as prelude to 'Deal of Century'.
So far, the Israeli forces using live ammunitions have killed 117 Palestinians and injured 13,000 more.
But since the beginning of the Palestinian protests on the Gaza border with the Occupied Territories and while the global community tends to turn a blind eye to the Palestinians' ordeal, relief workers alongside medics and paramedics from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, have been making every attempt to treat the wounded at the field hospitals set up for this reason.
Relief workers and medical teams, despite shortages of equipment, try to reach out for the injured Palestinians left on the ground near the barbed wires and other security barriers set up by the Israeli army.
The injured are either shot by live bullets or exposed to tear gas and other poisonous gases used by the Israeli army to stop a peaceful protest by the Palestinians who don't want the world to forget about their ordeal and the occupation of their homeland by the Zionist regime of Israel.
The Gaza Strip has been under a land, air and sea blockade since 2007 and the Israelis have turned the 350-square-kilometer piece of land into the biggest prison in the world.
One of the reasons for setting up the field hospitals is reducing the pressure on the hospitals in Gaza that as a result of the Israeli blockade on the Strip are very short of resources.
There are several medical teams working in each field hospital in Gaza, said Ibrahim al-Hoor an official at one of the Palestinian field hospitals.
'Each team is comprised of two doctors, two nurses, and two relief workers,' al-Hoor said.
He said that some of the medical teams are stationed inside the field hospitals while other medical teams provide the wounded people with the healthcare on the spot.
'There are special teams as well that take care of the people who have been exposed to the tear gas and smoke grenades used by the Israelis,' he said.
Raja Noor one of the doctors working in a Gaza field hospital said that the main problem faced by the medical teams and relief staff is scarcity of resources and specially drugs.
Noor blamed this on the high number of the injured.
'After two decades of being in the profession, I can say the crimes currently committed by the Israeli occupying forces against the Palestinians are unprecedented,' she said.
The Israeli occupiers reportedly shoot the Palestinian protesters mainly in the head or upper body to cause severe injuries.
Khalil Siam manager of one of the field hospitals in Gaza said that by shooting the protesters in the upper body, Israelis have caused a high number of deaths.
'Quite intentionally the Israeli snipers shoot at their targets in a way to paralyze them or leave them with very severe injuries causing amputations,' Siam said.
