The Syrian Army units combed on Saturday the neighborhoods that were restored yesterday, defusing many of explosives and mines planted by terrorists before they retreated due to the military operation launched by the Army against terrorists in Eastern Ghouta on the suburbs of Damascus, a report by the Syrian news agency, SANA, said from the Ain Tarma town.
The Army units discovered a place used by terrorists to manufacture shells and explosives as well as a tunnel network branched beneath houses of the towns.
The tunnel network was dug by terrorists for movement and storing weapons and ammunitions, the report said.
The army is continuing to secure the locals inside their houses and provide aid to them in the neighborhoods liberated from the terrorists on Friday, it added.
