Talks on Iraqi issues acceptable: Spokesman

In response to a question about participation of some Iraqi figures in Erbil and holding talks with Iraqi Kurdistan Region officials, Bahram Qasemi said, 'We have no exact information on those delegations which held meetings.'

Regarding our position to maintain territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Iraq and as regard the fact that the only solution to the Iraqi crisis would be negotiations, Iran accepts talks, he said.

He described Iraqi Government decision as important to find solution for KRG referendum.

Iran, Turkey and Iraq are holding talks to adopt the necessary policies, he added.
