Syrian cleric lauds Iran's pivotal role in region

Talking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday, Saleh Abu Majed hailed Iran's advisory assistance to Syria and Iraq which led to defeat of the terrorist groups those nations.

Abu Majed added that some Arab states, Saudi Arabia in particular, are plotting against Iran, which enjoys a pivotal role in the region.

Thanks to Iran's high experiences in military arenas, he said, the crisis has been controlled in Syria.

The terrorists are suffering defeats on a daily basis, he stressed.

Referring to the Zionist regime of Israel's support for the terrorists, the Syrian Sunni cleric said the Zionists are concerned about unity of the Islamic Resistance Front.

The goal the Islamic Resistance Front follows to achieve is the ultimate annihilation of the Zionist regime, Abu Majed said.
