Syrian Army advances Mayadin, eastern Syria

Syrian Army has started operation against terrorist group Daesh from western Deir ez-Zor and entered Mayadin through its old road.

Abu Kamal and Mayadin cities are the two remaining bases of Daesh in eastern Syria.

Syrian Army and the resistance have broken the siege of Deir ez-Zor on September 5.

The oil-rich city has been under the control of Daesh since July 14, 2014 and the humanitarian aids were only air dropped.
