Supreme Leader: Enemy is to depict negative, disappointing image of Iran

Addressing a group of university elites in Tehran, the Supreme Leader said the sincere and relentless efforts of tens of thousands of Iranian elites in various scientific fields depict a promising image of the country.

Depicting a wrong, negative and disappointing image of the current situation in Iran is now on the agenda of the enemy but thanks to almighty's blessing the real image of the country thwarts their plots, the Supreme Leader said.

Availability of tens of thousands of elites nationwide in fact demonstrates an authenticated image of the country which is source of pride for all, Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding that the views of the country's elites should be heeded to help upgrade the country's status.

Elites can help the country in many ways such as in oil industry, shifting oil-based economy to an independent one, which has roots in science and Resistance Economy, Ayatollah Khamenei said.

In a word, taking advantage of the elites' views and opinions bring the country dignity and strength, while preventing damage, the Supreme Leader said.

Progress and development in scientific fields will lessen the enemies' threats as their threats cannot last forever, the Supreme Leader said.

All should exercise vigilance and be watchful as enemies try to eliminate our aspirations and our identity, the Supreme Leader said.

Elites should not remain indifferent to the country's independence, justice, development and social vulnerabilities, Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Comparing the current propaganda campaign, masterminded by the enemies and their media to early days of imposed war against Iran, the Supreme Leader said, 'Our media and publicity capabilities are the same as during the sacred defense area, which is very minor but with reliance to almighty and without any hesitation we can be winner of this struggle as before.'
