According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Qasemi was replying to a reporter's question concerning the UAE coastguards' attack against an Iranian fishing barge in the Persian Gulf waters.

The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said that since yesterday the related bodies in the Foreign Ministry, the country's embassy in Abu Dhabi and Consulate general in Dubai are following up the case.

'We still did not receive reliable and accurate news concerning the incident to react properly,' he added.
