Addressing a UN Security Council Meeting on Yemen on Tuesday, he hoped that conflicting parties find out futility of military confrontations and move toward political approach.
From the beginning of conflicts in Yemen, Russia has supported diplomatic settlement of the issues, he said.
Unfortunately, conflicts are still in place and humanitarian catastrophe is taking place in a wider scale, as millions of Yemenis are suffering from hunger and unable to buy medicine and necessary services, Nebenzia said.
He called on the UN Security Council to help guide disputes towards diplomatic settlement and an all-out ceasefire and send necessary aid to Yemen.
