Governor of Bagram Seifollah Bidar also in a phone call with the local media confirmed the rocket attack, saying that they were intercepted.
According to the Afghan media, Taliban has targeted Bagram airfield for the third time since last week.
Bagram Airfield also known as Bagram Air Base is the largest US military base in Afghanistan.
It is located next to the ancient city of Bagram, 11 kilometers southeast of Charikar in the Parwan Province of the country.
