Vladimir Putin, who spoke at a general meeting of East International Economic Summit in Vladivostok on Wednesday, responded to the host's question.
The program's presenter asked Putin whether there would be a threat to US agreements if Washington had an initiative to negotiate with Iran like North Korea.
'The fact is that JCPOA was originally the result of an agreement between the United States and Iran, and we only accompanied the talks,' Putin continued.
He added that Russia was in fact supporting the process (Iran-US nuclear negotiations) and the agreements reached.
Therefore, the change in approaches is always disturbing, but this does not mean that nothing should be done.
Russia has always supported nuclear talks.
The Russian authorities have repeatedly stressed their position on maintaining this international agreement since May, when Trump announced the withdrawal of the United States.
