President Rouhani: Leaving Iran deal 'historic regret'

'The US cannot do anything serious against Iran,' said President Rouhani, adding' The US has always caused trouble for Iran, but has never prevailed. The US will make a mistake again if it quits the JCPOA; it will soon see that the mistake will be a historic one.'

'I explicitly announce that the required instructions have been issued to the executive parts of the country, the national atomic energy organization, and talking to the nuclear authorities of the country, the necessary orders have been issued in the economic part, as well.'

He also said that with the JCPOA, Iran wanted to tell the world that Iran was peace-seeking and the sanctions were a mistake, and the world should retreat from the mistake.

As Iranian soldiers were triumphant during the eight-year war with US- and EU-backed Saddam Hussein, during the negotiations with six world powers, Iranian diplomats could be victorious with showing logic and ability.

US President Donald Trump is to decide whether to stay in the JCPOA or unilaterally withdraw from it. He has demanded some amendments in the deal in order to stay in it.

The UK Prime Minister's Office has issued a statement to announce that the UK, Germany and France believe that the JCPOA should be kept.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini has repeatedly demanded that the signatories of the JCPOA stay committed to it.

European and American media have said that the former US Secretary of State John Kerry and some European states are trying to keep the deal alive.

This is while the Zionist lobbies are trying to coax Trump to leave the deal. The prime minister of the Zionist regime Benjamin Netanyahu, who is famous for putting up shows, organized a new show on Monday to accuse Iran of lying in the deal; he also repeated the threadbare baseless accusation that Iran is after making an atomic bomb.

Israel is famous for its 400 atomic bombs and doesn’t let the IAEA investigators scrutinize its nuclear facilities.

Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif likened Netanyahu to folklore character 'the liar shepherd', in Aesop's 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf'.

Iran has repeatedly said that it is not after making an atomic bomb, and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has issued a fatwa against it.
