President Rouhani leaves Astana for Tehran

President Rouhani was invited by his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev to attend the OIC Summit.

During his tour, he held meetings with Presidents of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Venezuela on bilateral relations as well as regional and international topics.

A special meeting was also held to address Muslim minority in Myanmar.

OIC member-states in a statement stressed on the need to stop violence, send humanitarian aids and also address issues dealing with refugees and those who were damaged.

Ministers of Science and Technology of the member-states discussed and adopted the ‘OIC Science, Technology and Innovation Agenda 2026’ before its consideration and adoption by OIC leaders during the First OIC Summit on Science and Technology, which started on Sunday.
