“We will continue to pursue our rights in international forums towards opening an immediate investigation into Israeli crimes,” PLO quoted Erekat as writing on his Twitter account.
“We will present files on Israeli war criminals to the international criminal court and other UN bodies in order to protect the rights of our people, secure international protection and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its systematic and persistent violations of international law,” he added.
Washington is controlling operations to provoke Palestinians, Erekat said in a statement, adding that Palestinians will not be surprised by remarks made by Nikki Haley, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations.
PLO is surprised by United States Department of State’s role to lead issuing order against Palestinians, he said.
This is while White House has forgotten Palestinian children and their rights to return to their homes, he added.
During the peaceful protests held by Palestinians in Gaza Strip on Friday morning, Israeli military forces shot dead at least 17 Palestinians most of whom were under 16 and injured about 1,500 others. This is while none of the protesters was armed.
