Parliament speaker: US following false path on Iran nuclear deal

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's remarks on Iran nuclear deal known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) have always been true since it is an international deal and it was approved by the UN Security Council, Ali Larijani told reporters on Wednesday in Shiraz, Fars province.

As far as I'm concerned, even European countries are now aware of the problems in US policy, saying we make independent decisions, he said.

They believe that JCPOA should remain, he added.

Iran has its own interests under the JCPOA and as long as they are fulfilled we will recognize the deal, but if the other side decides not to stay committed to Iran deal, we would reciprocate.

Larijani arrived in Shiraz city on Wednesday for a three-day tour.
