Salehi said in the sideline of the inauguration of Khandab Mehr Hospital on Monday that the possibility of generating oxygen-+18 at a capacity of about 60kg has been provided in this reactor.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization said that with the production of this product, Iran is self-sufficient in this field and the possibility of exporting to the country is also provided.

Salehi highlighted that the value of one kilogram of oxygen-18 is $ 30,000, which in turn will prevent the exit of the currency from the country by self-sufficiency.
