Over 2 million Iraqis visited Iran this year: Iraqi official

This year, 2.5 million Iraqis visited Iranian cities and this opportunity should be used by the two neighboring nations to further their mutual relations, Mohammad Bagher Hakim, an official affiliated to Iraqi embassy in Tehran said.

He made the remarks in a conference on development of cooperation among Iran and Iraq elites, held in Tehran.

The official described health tourism and exchange of university instructors and students as two main fields for enhancement of cooperation between Iran and Iraq.
