'Only option' against Trump move about Iran deal 'Impeachment': US MP

Waters wrote that Trump 'thinks he knows better' than the negotiators and the US allies — France, Germany, and the United Kingdom — which issued a joint statement this week condemning Trump's decision to abandon the agreement, wrote The Hill.

'Trump, further isolating the United States, thinks he knows better than our negotiators and all of our global allies who agreed to the Iran deal. How long do we have to suffer his gigantic ego and narcissistic behavior? Impeachment is the only answer,' wrote Waters on Wednesday.

Affronting the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, Germany, France, the UK, China, Russia, and the previous government of the US, President Donald Trump, announced on Tuesday that he is pulling out the US from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as Iran Deal.

The JCPOA, which is a landmark achievement of diplomacy, was negotiated by the five permanent members of the UNSC plus Germany and Iran and was finally signed by the negotiating states and confirmed by the UNSC unanimously in January 2015. The EU was the coordinator of the negotiations.

After Trump announced his decision, which was only welcomed by Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime, the leaders of the world expressed their unhappiness with the decision.

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini that EU opposed Trump's decision to pull out if the deal and added that EU will stay with Iran and other signatories of the deal.

Leaders of England, Germany and France separately issued statements and announced that they will stay in the deal.

French President Immanuel Macron urged Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to stay in JCPOA on a phone call on Wednesday.

Talking on Iranian TV minutes after US withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal, President Rouhani said, 'From now on, the deal is an agreement between Iran and five countries.'

'I have also ordered Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) to go ahead with adequate preparations to resume enrichment at the industrial level without any limit,' President Rouhani said.

He said that Iran will wait for a few weeks to consult the European sides of the nuclear agreement as well as Russia and China.

Iran's Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday, 'Trump threatened the Islamic Establishment and Iranian people that he will do this and he will do that. I say on behalf of the people of Iran: Mr. Trump, you are talking nonsense!'

'We have insisted that the issue between Iran and US is not a nuclear one, but there were parties saying 'No, this is not the case,' he said.

'Now you can see; we accepted the JCPOA, but the enmities are still in place,' the Leader said, referring to the Iran nuclear deal. The reason behind US opposition against the establishment in Iran is that they want to maintain an absolute domination over the country,' he said.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also said that the European parties of Iran nuclear deal are not reliable, either.

'I have no trust in these countries, either,' he said referring to the European signatories of the nuclear accord, cautioning 'Do not trust them'.

Ayatollah Khamenei urged the Iranian officials to ask for practical guarantees before entering any deal with the Europeans.

'In the absence of practical guarantee, they (Europeans) also will do what the US did,' he reiterated.

'If you cannot make them provide you with practical guarantees, maintaining the JCPOA will not be possible,' the Leader said.
