No talks on Deal of Century by Hamas: Senior member

Ismail Rizwan affirmed that the Palestinians will prevent the plan to be realized.

The US claims that the Deal of the Century, drawn by Washington, is aimed at establishing peace between Palestinians and the Zionist regime of Israel.

According to reports, the deal's pivotal subjects are the recognition of the holy city of Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime, opposition to the return of the Palestinian refugees, and formation of a Palestinian state.

During recent days there have been some reports claiming that Hamas has meetings with some parties regarding the deal.

'We will never forget our principles or give concessions over them, for which thousands of Palestinians have been martyred, and tens of thousands have been injured or detained,' the Hamas member said.

Emphasizing the necessity of unity among people and political parties and groups, he said, 'We strongly believe that a series of hasty attempt and measures for annihilation of the Palestine cause and removing it from the world agenda are under way, but at the same time, we believe that they are doomed to failure as other previous plots,' Rizwan said.

The world has been witnessing massive protests by Palestinians held to break the Gaza blockade and secure the return right for the past 15 weeks, he said.

'This shows we are a united nation that has stood against any so called peace talks aimed at marginalizing the Palestine cause and violating our legitimate rights,' he said.
