No contradiction between Algeria ties with Iran, Arab nations: Algiers

In an interview on Sunday with the Arabic-language Russian TV, Rusiya Al-Yaum, on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly, Messahel also called on Syria to reestablish ties with the Arab League.

He emphasized on the need for solving all disputes in the region, including the existing crises between some Persian Gulf littoral states.

Messahel highlighted Algeria's support for the UN initiatives in Libya.
