New Zealand official: JCPOA important agreement for Iran, region and int’l community

Anthony Smith in his meeting with Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan, the special aide to the Majlis (Parliament) Speaker and director general of the international affairs of Iranian parliament, while expressing the support of his country for the JCPOA, said that it was an important agreement for the region, Iran and the international community to achieve peace and nuclear control.

”'The Islamic Republic of Iran and New Zealand are in close contact with each other, and we also share common views on various issues.”

New Zealand's senior assistant to prime minister, while expressing his country's concern about the issue of Palestine, said New Zealand defends the Palestinian cause at the United Nations.

Amir Abdollahiyan said that US President Donald Trump's sanctions policy has aroused hatred against the White House policies, citing the wrong decisions of Trump and the US administration in the region and the world, and imposing sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran and other countries.

“International politics cannot be governed by commercial rules, and Mr Trump will inevitably change his policies,” he said.
