Nasrallah: Saudis insulting Hariri, a declaration of war against Lebanon

In a televised address on the occasion of Arbaeen, Nasrallah said that the premier's decision to resign during a visit to the kingdom was taken under the Saudi pressure. Since Saturday, Lebanon was pushed into a political crisis and a critical phase, the danger of which depends on the Lebanese themselves, Nasrallah said.

'We had a very good period before the recent events. The president was elected and the government was formed… An exemplary security and stability had been established and the Lebanese people felt confident,' leader of the Lebanon's resistance movement said.

Referring to Saudi pressures on the Lebanese prime minister to resign as an unprecedented intervention in the country's domestic affairs, he said that the Saudis are seeking to impose a new prime minister on Lebanon.

After announcing his resignation in Saudi Arabia, the Lebanese prime minister is under house arrest, not allowed to return to Lebanon, Nasrallah said.
