A Suicide attack on a bus carrying the Islamic Republic Guards Corps (IRGC) personnel martyred 27 and wounded 13 in southeastern Iran on February 12. A terrorist group so-called Jaish al-Adl, affiliated to Al-Qaida, claimed responsibility for the incident.
Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Pakistan ambassador to Iran Riffat Masood on Sunday over the recent terrorist attack in Zahedan.
During the meeting, Iran underlined the fact that Pakistan government should not let terrorist groups cause insecurity, lack of confidence and pessimism between the two countries by its terrorist and inhumane acts, Foreign Ministry spokesmen Bahram Qasemi said.
He reiterated that Pakistan government was urged to take necessary measures to arrest those agents affiliated with the recent terrorist attack.
Masood also said she would convey Iran's complaint to Pakistani government.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said an expert Pakistani delegation will travel to Iran to review the recent terror attack in southeastern Iran.
