Minister: OIC considering occupation of Muslim refugees

In his speech in the conference, Soltanifar said holding educational courses empowering volunteers and creating youth non-governmental organization upon successful experiences of member-states are among our proposals to be followed by the OIC.

He also proposed naming a day as 'international day of Muslim Youth' by Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Comprehensive plan for sports talent-hunting among member-states of the OIC was also another proposal by Soltanifar.

He pointed to the dangerous situation of the world and the existing inequality, cruelty, corruption and its consequences in forms of poverty, anger, extremism, intimidation and terror and said that sport as a powerful tool in supplying health of societies is valuable and along the promotion of moral and human values, confrontation with extremism and holding dialogue without violence are approaches for sports and its related activities.

The 2-day conference kicked off on Wednesday and will wrap up on Thursday in Baku, Azerbaijan Republic.
