Michel Aoun denies Iran interference in Lebanon affairs

President Aoun denied all allegations pertaining to Iran alleged interference in Lebanon's domestic affairs.

He also predicted that the war in Syria will soon come to an end and that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will remain in power.

Syria's future will be built upon Assad and the people in the country, Aoun said.

The Lebanese president went on to say that Damascus is after compromising with the opposition, he said.

He also pointed to recent victories of Lebanon in expelling Daesh and Al-Nusra Front terrorists from eastern country, saying all religious groups in Lebanon are against Daesh.
