According to Syrian News Agency (SANA), Hammoud said in a speech in Sidon on Saturday that the achievement of this victory was not easy, since it was the greatest global war in Syria's history that targeted this country, its people and its strong positions in support of resistance and struggle against the Zionist-American plots to surrender.
The Lebanese cleric added, 'All the signs around us indicate that this global conspiracy has failed against Syria, Palestine, Iraq, and in particular the resistance.'
