He also called for prosecution of those involved in the incident.

The statement read 'In recent days, bitter incidents took place around my residence in defiance of religious and mystic principles under false excuses .... that made me sad. He said 'The incidents in which some members of disciplinary, IRGC and Basij forces lost their lives bereaved me and other devotees. I hereby extend my condolences to the families of the victims and pray to God Almighty to let their souls rest in peace.'

He said the if a person whether a Dervish or not, is killed in an unfair manner, he will be sad.

The statement also quoted Tabandeh as saying that he has nothing to do with provocative material posted by certain websites and called on all devotees to follow his direct orders instead of those attributed to him on some websites.
