Japan not to move its embassy to Holy Quds

Shinzō Abe made the remarks in a meeting with Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine and Palestinian National Authority.

During the meeting the Japanese PM expressed readiness to help realize peace operation in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Abbas underlined the fact that establishing independent Palestine with Quds as its capital is the only solution to this crisis.

The US walked away from peace process by recognizing Holy Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime of Israel, he said.

Abbas had earlier announced that Palestine will confront this decision from the very beginning.

'We will not let any country relocate its diplomatic mission from Tel Aviv to Holy Quds,' he said.

After settling conflicts, eastern Quds will remain for Palestinians and western part for the Zionists, he added.

In a controversial act, the US President Donald Trump decided to recognize the Holy Quds as capital of the Zionist regime and ordered to relocate US embassy from Tel-Aviv to Quds on December 6.

Recognizing the Holy Quds as capital of the Zionist regime is a blatant violation of international resolutions and agreements and has so far been criticized by the international community.
