Italian think tank releases special report on Iran

The Institute for International Political Studies (Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale - ISPI) released an online issue of the journal on Friday titled 'Regional Policies of Islamic Republic of Iran' for the Italian parliament and foreign ministry.

The issue which is available on the ISPI website is aimed at discussing Iran's role in the Middle East.

Iran's actions in the region, including the priorities of the country's foreign policy and the measures prompted by foreign threats in various spheres of the region are discussed in the first part of the report.

The second part deals with major issues in the region, such as Iran's relations with Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and the Persian Gulf littoral countries.

ISPI, based in Milan, is the oldest Italian international affairs think tank.
