
Chegini was addressing the meeting between Iranian consul-generals on Iraq headed by Iran's Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjed-Jamei in Basra, Iraq on Saturday.
He said, 'We hope to reach a conclusion with our Iraqi brothers' on the issue which has been emphasized by Islamic Revolution Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Iranian consul-generals from Iraqi cities: Najaf, Karbala, Soleimanieh, Erbil, and Basra took part in the meeting.
More than one million Iranians visit Iraq annually. However, during Arbaeen, the number of visitors is estimated to be some two million.
Arbaeen, falling on November 9 this year, is a Shia Muslim religious observance that occurs forty days after the Day of Ashura to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the third Imam of Shia Muslims.
